Richie Rockwell - President
Richie Rockwell is a 20-year oil and gas industry veteran. He gained first-hand experience in industry components, including well drilling, well maintenance, and business operations under the apprenticeship of his petroleum engineer father. Today, Richie is the founder and president of Bonfire Energy. He has built the Bonfire companies by leading with trust, commitment to quality work, and the best service.
Richie’s career extends into real estate and financial fields beginning in 2006, having worked with companies like Countrywide and REO World. Richie transitioned into the oilfield full-time in 2010 by facilitating the negotiation of oil and gas sales and supervised drilling acquisition with Texas Coastal Energy. In 2015, he established Madra Oilfield Services. Richie went on to launch Bonfire Energy, Bonfire Operating, and Bonfire Resources in 2013 and immediately began drilling and acquiring oil and gas properties all over the state. In 2015, Richie added Bonfire P&A to the business portfolio with turnkey services for well plugging and abandonment.

Don Rockwell - Petroleum Engineer - Plugging Operations Mgr.
With over 40 years of oil and gas operating experience, Don has amassed a wealth of industry knowledge. He began his career with Getty Oil Company and over the years has served as a consultant and expert with internationally-recognized oil companies including Swift and Texaco. He has worked across 15 different locations in the United States and has valuable on-site exploration and production (E&P) experience in the Middle East and Euro Asia regions.
This extensive background and global exposure make him a highly experienced and versatile professional for Bonfires business goals. With his deep expertise in drilling and production, field work, reservoir engineering, research and overall engineering management, our petroleum engineer is a highly sought-after resource for Bonfire Operating and P&A customers.
He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Jonathan Hatfield-Chief Operating Officer
Plugging and Pipe Sales
Jonathan joined Bonfire Energy in 2019 as Operations Manager and you will find him on location to assist and be the point-of-contact representative for Bonfire Energy companies. He manages business relationships and compliance with The Railroad Commission of Texas, the Texas Department Of Transportation, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Jonathan is depended upon to ensure that the company operates in accordance with industry regulations. He works closely with Bonfire P&A customers to manage bids, W-3A Notice of Intention to Plug and Abandon filings, H15, and all other P&A requirements.
His impressive career spans over 25 years and includes nearly a decade in oil and gas sales compliance. Jonathan is a graduate of The University of North Texas. Born and raised in Texas, he enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, golfing, and watching English Premier matches.

Allison Willis is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Her background spans a wide range of roles, including accounting, production and operations management, as well as regulatory compliance.
Prior to her current role, Allison has managed small oil and gas operations for multiple secondary production companies based in Parker County.
Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Tarleton State University and currently resides in Weatherford, Texas. She is an avid supporter of various industry-related organizations. When not working, Allison enjoys traveling and relaxing with her family.
Plugging Operations Manager
Ozona, Tx
Phillip is a 29-year veteran of the oil and gas industry, starting in 1994 as a driller with Wes-Tex Drilling Company. He has held numerous air and fluid drilling positions and worked on multiple rigs throughout his impressive career in the oil field. Phillip has worked for companies including Nabors Drilling, Trinidad Drilling, Heartland Drilling, and J Cleo Thompson Petroleum. Phillip worked as an operator for five years and achieved certifications for hydrogen equipment and surface stack blowout prevention equipment (BOP). He also completed a comprehensive 24/7 OSHA-approved safety prevention class. His proficiency in being bilingual makes him a valuable member of the Bonfire P&A family.
As our Operations Supervisor, Phillip takes an active role in training and supervising team members while sharing his knowledge and experience with others.
Plugging Operations Manager

David has served the majority of his life in the Oilfield on rigs and on the service side of the industry. David brings a wealth of knowledge to the Bonfire team in downhole recognition as well as in plugging management and operational awareness. David has successfully managed Rig crews and teams for the better part of 30 years and is utilizing his knowledge and ability to assist Bonfire crews in being the most efficient crews in the industry.
